Leaving Hippo Digital.

Making this decision has been hard.

What I’ll miss the most are the amazing people I’ve worked with and without whom I wouldn’t be where I am today. If I tried to tell you how gracious and supportive folk have been I couldn’t do it justice so I’m not going to try.

Today I’m sad and there’s no getting away from that.

I’ve made a difficult choice but I know what I’m doing it for. More specifically I know who I’m doing it for.

Me.

Like many people I’ve found the last year extremely difficult and since becoming a parent in 2019 I’ve had a lot of life lessons to learn.

Thanks to the support of a beautiful partner, inspiring friends, a powerful coach and hours of time with a patient therapist I’m ready for my new chapter.

That means I’m starting my own company to build on a life’s work and passion for people and design.

We’ll be specialising in service design consultancy and training for individuals and organisations.

We also plan to offer coaching to ambitious leaders and want work at a deeper level to drive change.

We are already a company of two and in the future I hope there will be more.

But first a pause for this moment and to be grateful for everything that has gone before.
